Failure to Launch

Are you familiar with the saying, " If you fail to plan, you plan to fail"?
There are times we want something in our lives yet we stop at the wanting phase, and think we are
now ready to make it happen.   If it were that easy we all would have what we want without any effort.

Wanting is the first step, however there are two key parts needed in any goal.

1-  Want /Need   (Get clear on what you want in your life and why)    =  Goals
2-  Believe in your ability to attain   (Have faith in your higher source and in yourself)
3-  Action / Move forward (Set your plan in motion)

It's three for three......your goals depend on how you use these steps.

Do this exercise on paper.

I did this exercise and it took several attempts until I was finally clear on what I wanted.
At first you think you have an idea or think you know what you want,  however once you begin this exercise you will find that you really were not as clear on what you wanted.

example:  My husband wants every expensive car he sees....he is like a kid
Oh look at that, I want that Ferrari,   Did you see that,  I want that truck,  Oh I am going to get..............
He loves cars and if he had the money he would aim for Jay Leno's garage...hahaha

However that is not what he truly wants......maybe in a world with more than enough money that could be his goal, however in his current situation its not.  In his current situation he must think of what type of car does he need and why,  and see if it meets his other criteria, etc.   He can buy the car / truck he wants but at this point in his life it will be that one vehicle.

The exercise of being clear is filtering out your likes from your wants and focusing on achieving the latter.
This is a fun game,  and you can do it every day to see if your thoughts have changed or once a week.......you do this until you look at your page and see no need for further change.   At that time, you are ready to set your plan in motion.
