Dare to be YOU

You have decided to change yet change is not instantaneous or easy…..what do you do?

Do you give up?
Do you give it a try and see how far you can go?
Do you commit to change and stay the course no matter the challenges or pain involved?

No one ever said change was easy, yet change is worth it. We must continue to improve ourselves, expand our thinking, explore new ways learn new skills.

Dare to change…Dare to be different….Dare to be YOU.

Letting Go - Releasing the Pain

Letting go of pain, sadness, frustration, resentment is not easy. Yet letting go, releasing it into the Universe is the only way to move forward. I think of all those emotions as a heavy load that you carry which stops you on your tracks. You can’t stand straight; you can’t move fast, it’s this constant burden holding you down. If not released this baggage has the ability to making you and those around you miserable because it is the constant reminder of PAIN.

You might be living with some resentment in life be it family, work, friendship, mistakes….we all make mistakes and some are easier to correct than others. I look back and I wish I was then the person that I am today….however this new me is a product of all the past mistakes, the lessons learned, the pain, and the tears. This new I could not have existed back then yet today I am here and I am strong.

Kenny & Stephanie…..
You both are my life, I can’t change the past, but I am committed to creating a better stronger relationship with the both of you.

To my Reader:
I can’t blame others for my weaknesses; neither can you blame others for yours. It is about being accountable; it’s about recognizing we screwed up and deciding to make life better. Simpler said than done…yet very possible to achieve.

  • Forgive yourself for your weaknesses
  • Forgive others for their weaknesses
  • Move ON to Live Life According to YOU

Has this been you?

• Do you find yourself wanting to make a change in your life yet not knowing how to do it on your own?
• Do you find it hard to get clear on yourself not knowing what questions to ask?
• Do you find it hard understanding your feelings, releasing yourself from the pain?

I have been there, I have walked that walk, and I have confronted my demons, my fears, myself. I have come face to face with the real me and embraced her. I took myself from victim mode to being accountable. I took myself from not being confident to becoming a confident, stronger version of me.

I did it….you can do it too….

Why do you need a mentor or a coach?

Why do you need a mentor or a coach?

Successful people have mentors, coaches, they do so because they understand and recognize that they don’t know it all and that sometimes they need a little push toward their goals.

An athlete can get tired, choose to do to train for an hour instead of for two, choose to run at a slower pace, choose to have a heavy dinner……yet their coach is the constant reminder of the GOAL.  The coach is the constant voice pushing the athlete to push harder, do more, and focus on the big picture.   A successful athlete has a coach.

This is true with many successful people from different walks of life.  Could be a coach, could be a mentor.    I personally have a mentor.  I have someone that will remind me of what I already know and that will listen to me and challenge me when I need to be challenged.    I am a strong woman and I am determined to my goals and know exactly what I want…..yet I understand the value of having a mentor.

Change can seem hard, and it can seem even harder when you attempt to do it alone.  A mentor can be a family member, friend, co-worker; you would be surprised on who could be your mentor.   Find someone you can connect to, that you feel comfortable to communicate with clearly, honestly and be open to allow this person help you on your journey to your goals.

My mentor did not expect to be my mentor, I just liked his thought process and I chose him.   Thank you Dennis!

Find someone…..you will have a higher success rate with a mentor or coach.

Law of Attraction

Law of Attraction really does work…I have seen this in my life and each time, I can’t help but be amazed
and filled with gratitude.

When you think of this law you might doubt it as you might want something and yet it never comes to life. Why does this happen? Here is how I see it…..

You want something bad, yet your focus is on NOT HAVING IT……what do you attract?

You attract the not having it, the reason for this is because you are constantly talking about, thinking about and being upset about the NOT HAVING IT.

You want something bad, you set your goal and focus on doing all you can toward the goal…..your focus is the GOAL……what do you attract? You are attracting the desired GOAL, the reason for this is because you know what you want and you are thoughts, words and actions are aligned to reaching your goal.

ASK - know what you want in life
BELIEVE – have faith that you can have it and deserve it
RECEIVE – be prepared to act when you feel the moment is right
Keep your focus on the goal no matter if you don’t have it or if you don’t know how you will have it.
